Joel is a Chartered Accountant with over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry, spanning banking, insurance, and asset management. He has built a strong reputation for driving financial and business strategy formulation, execution, and sustainable growth across diverse markets.

An MBA graduate from Oxford Brookes University (UK) and holder of an MSc in Professional Accountancy from the University of London (UK), Joel combines advanced technical expertise with strategic leadership capabilities. His career highlights include extensive work in mergers and acquisitions, divestments, turnaround financial strategies, and IFRS-based financial reporting.

He also brings practical expertise in scenario planning, budgeting, and transfer pricing, supported by his certification as a PRINCE2 Project Management Practitioner.

In his role as Group CFO, Joel provides strategic financial leadership to CBZ Holdings, guiding the Group’s fiscal direction, strengthening operational resilience, and ensuring long-term value creation for stakeholders.
