Mr Pfungwa Gore Serima is a highly experienced technology executive with over 36 years across Africa and the Middle East. His career includes executive roles  at Microsoft, Accenture, SAP, and Metrofile, where he led transformative growth strategies, regional expansion, and digital innovation. 

As Group CEO of Metrofile Holdings from 2016 to 2025,  Mr. Serima spearheaded the company’s evolution from a  physical data storage provider to a digital services leader.  Prior to this, he served as CEO and Executive Chairman of SAP Africa and Managing Director of Microsoft South  Africa. 

Mr. Serima also held CEO roles at Accenture Technology Solutions and Accenture Technology Infrastructure Services. He began his career in Zimbabwe as a CIO in various private and public sector organisations, driving technology transformation at a national level. 

He holds a degree in Business Studies and Computing  Science from the University of Zimbabwe. 

Mr Serima previously served on the boards of WesBank  (part of the FirstRand Group, SA) and the German  

Chamber of Commerce. He also sits on the board of Hippo Valley Estate Limited as an Independent Non Executive Director.
