The Hospital Cash Plan is a product that pays a benefit to the insured member or policy beneficiary in the event that they are admitted into Hospital for more than 48hrs following an accident or illness.
The focus is to provide some form of financial assistance when one spends time in hospital – loss of earnings, shortfalls or any other expenses incurred by the client. Cover can be extended to cover a spouse and children.


  • The hospital cash plan pays a cash lump sum for the duration when one is hospitalized up to a maximum of specified duration per annum.
  • The amount payable depends on the length of the hospital stay and not on the services provided by the medical practitioners
  • Funds are paid after the Hospital stay and the client can use them however they want.
  • No excess or waiting period in the event of an accident.
