Saturday 13 December 2014 will remain engraved on the hearts of the children and staff at Shearley Cripps Children’s Home after CBZ Group Operations Social Club made a magnanimous donation to this home in Chikwaka area (kwaBhora). Home to 63 children, Shearley Cripps is run by the Anglican Church and relies on donations for survival. The Social Club is made up of staff from the Centralised Processing, Policy & Procedures, Archives and Safe Custody departments. The staff member’s personal contributions were immense, and the combined effort resulted in smiles among the Shearley Cripps family as this donation came a few days before Christmas. The children had prepared a Christmas play as a token of appreciation- the angels and manger with dry grass making it a really overwhelming experience.
